
As the "Cultural Heritage Day" approaches, a series of new art and cultural relics exhibitions have been launched in various places recently.
Following the exhibition on I.M. Pei, the Power Station of Art in Shanghai recently continued to present an exhibition on another architectural master, the 92-year-old Portuguese architect Siza; the "Chinese Left-wing Cultural Movement Cultural Relics and Historical Materials Exhibition" at the Shanghai Lu Xun Memorial Hall traces the ideological waves of the turbulent era through more than 200 exhibits including manuscripts, prints and publications.
In Beijing, the "Free Spirit - Chinese Freehand Painting Exhibition" was on display at the National Art Museum of China. In New York, the Rockefeller Hall of the Metropolitan Museum of Art recently opened to the public with a new look, presenting African art and ancient American art. At the British Museum in London, new special exhibitions include "Utagawa Hiroshige: The Scenic Path".

Alvaro Siza's Archives

Álvaro Siza, the 92-year-old Portuguese Pritzker Prize-winning architect, is one of the most important architects of our time. This is the largest retrospective of Siza's work in Asia to date. The exhibition consists of nine sections and more than 800 exhibits, creating an architectural topography that transcends time and space and intertextualizes.
I.M. Pei: Life is like architecture

Dragon Roars in the Nine Provinces: China Dinosaur Exhibition

Revlon Deep - Tang Dynasty Life Aesthetics Exhibition

The exhibition selects more than 300 exquisite cultural relics. Starting from the concept of the aesthetics of life in the Tang Dynasty, it showcases the Tang Dynasty as an international trade center through tea ceremony, incense ceremony, makeup, etiquette, music, poetry and calligraphy.
So Long, So Rich - Huang Yongyu's New Works Exhibition

Exhibition period: Closed on June 8, extended opening to 24:00 midnight, last admission time is 22:00.

More than 200 exhibits were on display. Each work was accompanied by a QR code, and visitors could scan the code to appreciate the "Huang style humor" between the lines.

The exhibition presents the origin, formation, development and diversified integration of Chinese civilization through more than 140 cultural relics and archaeological research results, including bone flutes from the Jiahu culture period (more than 8,000 years ago), jade cong from the Liangzhu culture 5,000 years ago, and painted pottery jars from the Yangshao culture.
Shanghai Sculpture Exhibition

From the 18th century Engadine milking stool to the modern armchair, from the Victorinox multi-purpose folding knife to the invention of aluminum foil, the exhibition tells the story of the evolution of Swiss design over the past four centuries with 75 exhibits, as well as the simplicity and aesthetics in between.
Star Cluster - Mutual Learning of Chinese and Western Classics Exhibition

The exhibition displays a total of more than 110 precious Chinese and Western classics.
